How to Get a Cute Girl's Phone Number

One of the big questions guys want answered is how to get a phone number from a girl they just met. It is true, as rumored, that I know a bunch of tactics for that, but I am going to be really honest with you here and tell you that you do not need training wheels. It's not what you say; it's how you say it. Do it with confidence and the words become irrelevant. The other problem that fancy training-wheel tactics create is a belief in your head that you do not have enough value to just ask for a girl's phone number. If you believe that you need to trick her into giving you her number, you've got bigger problems. You don't need to trick her. Just show enough value to make her want to give you her phone number. Remember, it's all about value.

Her name was Lena. At that point in my life, she was the cutest girl I had ever laid my eyes on. I was in Newport Beach having dinner at the Cheesecake Factory with some business associates when I suddenly found myself very distracted. There was no thinking involved. I looked at her, she caught me admiring her, and a second later, I found myself on my feet walking toward her table with no idea what I was going to do or say. I left the people at my table very confused at why I stopped talking to them midsentence and wondering where I was going. She was having dinner with her mom, brother, and brother's girlfriend. She smiled as I came closer. Without a plan, what came out of my mouth was, "Hello. You are adorable. Would you like to make a new friend over coffee some time?" She said yes. Everything in my body went tingly! That was when I realized that I did not have a pen or paper to get her phone number with. For some reason, instead of asking if anyone at the table had a pen, I told her that I would be right back and that I was going to go get a pen from the hostess booth. As I walked away, I overheard her mom telling her to just get my number because it would be "safer that way." When I got back to the table, I asked her for her phone number. She responded with, "Ah, just give me yours, and I can call you." I pulled back and told her, "That's OK. If you were as interested in seeing me again as I am in seeing you again, you would feel comfortable giving me your number." She grabbed the pen and scrap of paper out of my hand and wrote her number down. I cannot remember anything about that business dinner other than what I just told you. I do remember leaving the restaurant wondering how I managed to pull that off. Up until that night, I did not think that what I had just done was even possible.
